Leaving San Francisco
After Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, and Fisherman’s Wharf, we wave goodbye to the Bay Area. Heading south, the California coast quickly takes over with its rugged charm and endless ocean views.
Stop 1: Año Nuevo State Park
Famous for its massive elephant seal colony, which is especially impressive in winter, Año Nuevo also offers scenic trails through dunes and along the coastline – a perfect introduction to California’s wildlife.
Stop 2: Santa Cruz

Griffith Observatory & Hollywood Sign: Sweeping views of the city and the iconic letters. Venice Beach & Santa Monica Pier: Vibrant boardwalks, street performers, skateparks, and chill beach vibes. Hollywood Boulevard: Famous stars on the Walk of Fame and the TCL Chinese Theatre.
