The vacation island of Corfu boasts stunning regions and beaches that invite you to relax and unwind. With the right spots, you can end your day perfectly with a breathtaking sunset. Here are our three favorite places to watch the most beautiful sunsets in Corfu.

Sunset at Katevasidi Bay

If you’re looking for a secluded and peaceful place to watch the sunset, Katevasidi Beach is the perfect spot. Sometimes you can even find yourself completely alone in the bay at sunset. It’s a 15-minute walk from the main road to the beach, but you can also scooter part of the way. Don’t forget to bring some snacks to make your sunset experience a real highlight!

Sunset at Glifada Beach

On the beach of the same name, Glifada offers many restaurants and a beach club with sunbeds and daybeds during the day. There are also many free sunbathing areas around and at the end of the bay. We enjoyed the sunset from one of these areas. If you want to enjoy the sunset in a stylish beach club, this beach allows you to do both!

Marathias Beach is a wonderful place to relax during the day. See our Corfu Beach Guide for the top 5 beaches. As evening falls, the beach becomes quieter and fewer people stay until sunset. We watched the sunset from the cliffs, which you can reach by walking through some bushes near the Fisheye restaurant and its parking lot, where you’ll find a few open spots. Alternatively, you can enjoy a nice walk on the beach while watching the sunset and then stop by Fisheye or one of the local tavernas in Marathias.
