At the edge of the cliff, the view suddenly opens up to reveal a breathtaking turquoise bay below. The descent is steep and requires confidence with heights and secure footing. If you don’t feel comfortable with the route, you can reach the bay alternatively by boat, kayak, or SUP from Himarë.

Buneci Beach – Sarandë

Buneci Beach is not as easy to find as many other beaches in the region – and that is exactly what makes it special. The name says it all. Two long rocky cliffs frame the bay and extend far into the sea, creating an unusually calm and protected environment. It is the perfect place for swimming, snorkeling, and simply standing in the water wondering how something this beautiful can be real. Cliff jumpers will also find plenty of opportunities here.

Guma Beach – Himarë

Right next to Aquarium Beach lies Guma Beach – larger, slightly quieter, and with the same breathtakingly clear water. It is ideal for anyone looking for more space while still enjoying a spectacular turquoise bay. The beach is especially popular with campers who appreciate the peaceful atmosphere. The access route is the same as Aquarium Beach, making it easy to combine both beaches in one day.

Borsh Beach – Sarandë

One of the longest beaches in Albania – and still one of the least crowded. Small beach clubs have opened along the coastline, adding a relaxed summer atmosphere without feeling overwhelming. Borsh Beach feels like a place you can still discover for yourself – before everyone else finds out.

Potami Beach – Himarë

Located in the southern part of Himarë, Potami Beach is one of the best sunset locations in the region thanks to its unique orientation. Pulëbardha Beach – Ksamil/Sarandë

Pulëbardha Beach is easily accessible from both Ksamil and Sarandë and is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful sunset spots along the entire Albanian Riviera. The bay is peaceful, the access leads through a welcoming seaside restaurant, and the beach offers a free area where you can bring your own towel and umbrella. For Ksamil Visitors – Honest Review

Public Beach Ksamil

Centrally located, easy to reach, and featuring turquoise water – Public Beach Ksamil is a convenient swimming stop right in the heart of Ksamil. The downsides: The beach is narrow, very busy during summer, and the surrounding beach clubs create a lively atmosphere. For a short swim or quick visit, it works perfectly – but for a peaceful full beach day, there are better alternatives.

Ksamil Beach

The most famous beach in Ksamil – and the reason why many travelers come here. The water is intensely turquoise and undeniably beautiful. However, the reality on-site is different from many polished travel photos. The beach area is small, and large sections are occupied by sunbeds and umbrellas. Free areas are limited. The water itself remains the undeniable highlight.
